The Road to the Driving Licence

After registering with the driving school, you must apply for the driving licence at the nearest local government office.
For this purpose you will need:

proof of registration from the driving school |

|
a sight test certificate
(from any optician or oculist) |
|
| 3. |
|
a course certificate in "life-saving emergency measures" |
|
| 4. |
|
a passport photo |
|
| 5. |
|
your passport |
|
| 6. |
|
43,40 € to 58,-€ local administration fee |
|
| If you hold a foreign licence, please take along: |
|
| 7. |
|
translation resp. acknowlegdement of driving licence (best done at ADAC) |

| 8. |
|

You can start training on the day of registration. Training finishes when the test is successfully completed at the TÜV (the authority responsible for doing the exams).
In the unlikelihood of the practical test having to be repeated, we will NOT recharge you the basic fee.
